Christine Headford - Product Director

Much of the built-in headroom in RMS products is down to Christine, whose vision tends to see far beyond the customer's immediate requirements.

"I'm a problem solver," she says simply. "I'll spot a business problem, or someone comes to me with a difficulty, and I’ll determine how IT can solve it and give an organisation the competitive edge. The technology is there to make the best of people, and make the best of the business."

Christine has 30 years' experience in IT, all of it at the leading edge covering most aspects of service support and delivery, Christine has provided consultancy to numerous organisations on the implementation of IT products and processes within the ITIL framework.

In 1982 she developed the Service Desk, at a time when PCs were moved onto desktops for the first time and it was clear to her that users were going to need a different kind of technical support.

Christine has been responsible for the development of the RMS product range from its initial inception in 1988, and has been an inspirational lead in the research and strategic product direction of the product portfolio globally. The market niche she spotted resulted in what would prove to be the very first RMS core product range. Having always worked in close partnership with customers, it was only natural that her ethos became built into the very fabric of RMS.
