Tim Gibbs - Sales and Marketing Director

Joining RMS at the end of June 2010, and bringing over 25 years of IT products and services experience, Tim has a history of successful sales management and strategy development in multi-million pound sales departments and business streams. Tim has worked primarily within international companies such as Praxis(now part of the Altran Group), Deloitte Touche, and Anite. He strongly believes his Computer Engineering and IT centric career helps him ensure that customer business needs are fully met through the application of appropriate solutions; and he likes to keep it that way!

"Understanding underlying technologies as they develop keeps me connected to the real world" he says. "As IT commoditisation continues there is a fantastic opportunity for efficiency and competitiveness within organisations. There are also equally large risks of not doing it well. I joined because RMS has the ITIL experience of where clients get the quickest and most cost-effective returns, and RMS work with customers to ensure just that. Their highly configurable solution means clients have much lower-lifecycle costs in comparison to some of the 'build-your-own' toolset offerings."

Tim is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the British Computer Society. He has a young family, enjoys flying and cycling and almost any sort of construction project.
