David Williams - Managing Director

Originally joining RMS in 2007 as Services & Operations Director David became Managing Director in 2009.

David already knew the company from the customer side, having joined RMS from Sungard where he spent seven years as Managed Services Director “I have a fundamental belief in the products and the way RMS operates with a unique working relationship with their customers.”

David has a very successful track record, spanning more than 20 years, in the IT industry. He has been responsible for the development of substantial ICT customer service operations and the delivery of ICT service operations across both the public and private sector.

His vision focuses on the IT and commercial sector challenges that lie ahead.

"Major change is coming," he says. "There will be a move away from the client-server technology of the last dozen years and towards cloud computing where the internet itself becomes your IT infrastructure. Because we spotted it early, we're already equipped to ease our clients into staying ahead of their competitors”.

He adds: "We have deliberately resisted the common trend to be absorbed by larger companies. This means we have the independence and flexibility to stick to our founding principles, for the benefit of our customers."
