Multiple instances of Enterprise Manager can be run on a single infrastructure to create local management domains, that can operate in different modes, to minimise operational impact and improve performance. Creating an infrastructure hierarchy with Enterprise Manager delivers a very powerful solution with a single view of all infrastructure components and their operation, and a single point of integration into the Service Support and Delivery environment.
