Nigel Beresford, Managing Director Nigel joined RMS in a full time role as chief executive of RMS in 2000, overseeing the companies growth, the acquisition of WideAwake and the migration to subscription pricing. His core focus is ensuring that RMS is capable of delivering enterprise wide service management solutions, that enable organisations to maximise their operational efficiencies and avoid the customary “silo” pitfalls of traditional solutions. To this end, the companies' ethos and commercial proposition is one of shared risk, whereby all parties are focused on long term success. With over 25 years experience in the I.T. industry, Nigel has an enviable track record of identifying ground breaking technologies, personnel and resources to develop profitable, high growth companies. He has successfully founded, grown and sold a number of operations including LanCare and Knowledge technology in the networking, software and medical fields. |

Jim Brookes, Director Jim brings over 40 years of computing experience to RMS, together with a comprehensive background in general and project management. His particular focus is on developing and growing organisations and managing business change underpinned by ICT, based on his wide experience of running very large scale IT and network operations. As British Computer Society (BCS) Chief Executive, he raised the profile of Computing, and Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), as a profession with Government and with major organisations in Industry and Commerce. Prior to this, he was IS Director for a number of large, computer networked computing service operations including the South West Universities Regional Computer Centre which developed and ran the first implementation of JANET. He co-founded Praxis Systems Plc, which focused on high quality software engineering; this was successfully sold to Deloitte Touche in 1992. Currently, he participates in a number of government advisory committees. He has recently provided both strategic and implementation advice to Local Authorities, the Police Service, and to Central Government on a wide range of issues including eGovernment, “Best Value” reviews and transformation projects. Jim has an MA honours in Mathematics, from Oxford University, is a fellow of the BCS and a Chartered Engineer. He has also been a visiting Professor in Management Science at the University of Strathclyde. |

Christine Headford, Development Director Christine has been responsible for the development of the RMS product range from its initial inception in 1988, in charge of research and development as well as the strategic product direction of the product portfolio globally. With over 25 years in the industry, covering most aspects of service support and delivery, Christine has provided consultancy to numerous organisations on the implementation of IT products and processes within the ITIL framework. Christine has a Joint Honours degree in Mathematics and Physics from Bristol University, UK |
