The RMS Enterprise Manager provides comprehensive event correlation and management features that enable pre-emptive and proactive actions to be initiated on the enterprise infrastructure to maintain service availability. RMS Enterprise Monitor can be configured to take predefined actions on the monitored systems when an interesting event occurs.
An interesting event is one that is deemed to have an impact on the service operation or system and requires some action to be taken. Interesting events will be identified and configured by the system support group responsible for the system or application being monitored and an action specified.
