
Slow Downs are not always noticed or reported by the end user although their experience and operational efficiency may be adversely affected. More importantly they may be the sign that something is going wrong with the infrastructure that could cause a service availability failure in the future. It is critical that the root cause of the slow down is identified at the earliest opportunity.
Slow Downs are normally associated with network response but could be the caused by other factors:
RMS Enterprise Manager can continually interrogate the event logs and performance counters for all the above, match against performance thresholds and invoke an action to address any issue detected. This action will be proactive and prevent any ‘slow down' that would affect the users performance.
